Job Summary
Sutherland is hiring KYC Executives for its Insurance Process. The candidate will be responsible for performing Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, ensuring compliance with AML regulations, and supporting insurance underwriting and onboarding processes. The role requires strong attention to detail and prior experience in KYC/Insurance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct KYC verification for new and existing insurance policyholders.
- Review and validate customer documents (ID proof, address proof, financial documents).
- Ensure compliance with AML, CDD, and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform risk assessment and flag high-risk or suspicious cases.
- Coordinate with internal teams for pending or discrepancy cases.
- Maintain accurate data entry and documentation in internal systems.
- Meet productivity, accuracy, and quality benchmarks.
- Handle email-based or backend insurance operations (if applicable).
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in any discipline (Commerce/Finance preferred).
- 1+ yrs of experience in KYC / AML / Insurance process / BFSI operations.
- Experience in document verification and compliance checks.
- Basic understanding of Insurance products and policy lifecycle.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
Preferred Skills
- Experience in international insurance KYC process.
- Knowledge of AML regulations and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in BPO/ITES or backend operations.
