Job Description
- Coordinate the production schedule and adjust as necessary to meet demand while maintaining optimal efficiency
- Supervise and manage daily production activities to ensure that production goals are met in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines
- Monitor product quality throughout the production process, ensuring that all food safety regulations
- Perform quality checks and make adjustments to processes as needed to maintain product consistency and prevent contamination.
- Lead, train, and motivate production team members, ensuring they understand safety protocols, production standards, and job expectations.
- Provide performance feedback and identify opportunities for employee development and continuous improvement.
- Identify and resolve any production or equipment issues that may arise, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operations
- Work closely with maintenance teams to troubleshoot mechanical or operational problems with equipment
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, waste, downtime, and resource utilization
