Job Description

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience in software testing, automation, and Healthcare EDI testing. The candidate should have strong knowledge of healthcare EDI transactions, API testing, database validation, and automation frameworks.


Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for healthcare applications.

Perform end-to-end testing of Healthcare EDI transactions.

Validate EDI files, segments, elements, data mapping, and transformation rules.

Test healthcare transactions such as 837, 835, 270, 271, 276, 277, 278, 834, 999 and TA1.

Perform EDI-to-application, EDI-to-database, and application-to-EDI validation.

Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium with Java/Python.

Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and REST/SOAP APIs.

Write SQL queries for database validation and data reconciliation.

Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.

Identify, analyze, document, and track defects using Jira/Azure DevOps.

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, EDI specialists, and product teams.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and defect triage.

Contribute to automation framework enhancement and CI/CD integration.


Mandatory Skills

4+ years of QA/Software Testing experience

Strong experience in Healthcare EDI Testing

Hands-on experience with 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277

Good understanding of US Healthcare Claims and Payer/Provider processes

Selenium with Java or Python

API Testing REST/SOAP, Postman

Strong SQL and Database Testing

Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG/JUnit/PyTest

Knowledge of Git and Jenkins/CI-CD

Experience with Jira/Azure DevOps

Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
