About the Role

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in API Automation and Web Automation. The ideal candidate should have solid programming skills and hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks for scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for API and Web applications
Perform API testing and automation using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar
Develop and execute UI automation test scripts using modern tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.)
Validate end-to-end business workflows across UI and backend systems
Identify, log, and track defects and ensure timely resolution
Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience in API Automation API Testing
Strong experience in Web Automation (UI testing)
Good programming skills in Java / Python / JavaScript (any one preferred)
Experience with automation tools like Selenium / Playwright / Cypress / Rest Assured
Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and request/response validation
Familiarity with framework design (POM, BDD, Hybrid frameworks)
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies

Good to Have

Experience with performance or security testing basics
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Knowledge of database testing (SQL)
Experience working in a product/startup environment
