QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview

• We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in automation testing, API testing, and end-to-end testing.
• The ideal candidate should have solid experience with Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript, along with insurance domain experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Develop and execute end-to-end, functional, regression, and integration test cases.
• Perform API testing using Postman.
• Perform web and mobile application testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects and support root cause analysis.
• Perform database testing and data validation using SQL.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, BAs, and product teams to ensure quality delivery.
• Participate in test planning, execution, and release validation.
• Continuously improve automation coverage and testing processes.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in QA Automation / Software Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience in developing and maintaining E2E automation frameworks.
• Strong experience in API Testing using Postman.
• Experience with SQL and Database Testing.
• Experience in Web and Mobile Testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD integration.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong defect tracking and troubleshooting skills.
• Insurance domain experience is mandatory.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
