QA Automation Engineer(Playwright)

Role
We are seeking a results-driven, heads-down QA Automation Engineer to accelerate our automated test coverage and strengthen product reliability.
This role focuses on test automation execution and conversion, not on test design or business analysis. Youll be working independently to automate test cases documented in AIO (All-In-One Testing for Jira) using Playwright.

Key Responsibilities
• Convert manual test cases documented in AIO into automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Maintain, enhance, and refactor existing Playwright scripts for performance, stability, and maintainability.
• Integrate and execute automated tests through GitHub version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results, identify patterns of failure, and report issues promptly to the QA lead.
• Review existing Cypress automation coverage and convert or rebuild tests in Playwright where appropriate.
• Ensure test case parity between AIO documentation and automation execution.
• Work closely with QA Analysts and Business Analysts to ensure automation aligns with approved test cases and business requirements.
• Validate and confirm that automated tests meet acceptance criteria before sign-off.
• Maintain consistent documentation of automation status and test results in Jira/AIO.
• Operate largely independently — this is a “heads-down” execution role, not a Scrum-facing or developer-collaborative position.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA Automation.
• Strong experience with Jira and AIO (All-In-One Testing for Jira).
• Proficiency with Playwright is a must.
• Experience integrating automated tests with GitHub repositories and CI/CD
workflows.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality
automation in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, consistency, and structured problem-solving
approach.

• Familiarity with SaaS application testing and multi-tenant architectures.
