Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, and maintain complex COBOL programs for mainframe systems using VSAM.
- Provide technical support to end-users on mainframe applications and troubleshoot issues related to JCL jobs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and implement solutions that meet customer needs.
- Develop documentation for new features and changes made to existing codebase.
Job Requirements :
- 5-8 years of experience in mainframe development using COBOL language.
- Strong understanding of JCL (Job Control Language) concepts and ability to write efficient jobs.
- Experience working with mainframes such as IBM System z Series or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in developing complex programs using VSAM (Virtual Storage Access Method).
