Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, and maintain complex COBOL programs for mainframe applications.
- Provide production support for existing systems by troubleshooting issues and resolving problems in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and implement solutions using IMS DB, JCL, VSAM, CICS, ENDEVOR tools.
- Develop technical documentation for new features and changes made to the system.
Job Requirements :
- 7-9 years of experience in mainframe development with expertise in COBOL programming language.
- Strong understanding of mainframe production support processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in working with various mainframe platforms such as IBM System z Series (z/OS) or similar systems.
