Position Overview
We are looking for a sharp, commercially-minded Chartered Accountant (0–2 years experience) to join our Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. In this role, you will play a critical part in financial decision-making, performance tracking, annual budgeting, and long-term financial modeling.
This position offers strong exposure to senior leadership, strategic business partnering, and core financial strategy beyond traditional accounting.
Key Responsibilities1. Budgeting & Financial Forecasting
- Support the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and quarterly business reviews across various business units.
- Build, maintain, and refine financial models (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to evaluate strategic initiatives, business cases, and pricing structures.
2. Variance Analysis & Management Reporting
- Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and historical trends.
- Perform detailed Actual vs. Budget (Variance Analysis) and highlight key revenue, gross margin, and Opex drivers to business leaders.
- Prepare high-impact MIS dashboards, board slide decks, and executive summary reports for C-suite management.
3. Business Partnering & Commercial Support
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product) to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
- Conduct profitability analysis across business lines, customer segments, products, or geographical regions.
- Assist in cost-optimization projects, working capital management, and ROI evaluations for capital expenditures (CapEx).
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (Freshers with strong articleship experience or up to 2 years post-qualification FP&A/Finance experience are encouraged to apply).
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced MS Excel skills (Financial modeling, complex formulas, macros/VBA is a plus).
- High proficiency in MS PowerPoint for executive presentations.
