Job Description
We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer with 2 years of experience to join our team in Ambattur, Chennai. The ideal candidate should have strong technical troubleshooting skills and experience providing end-user IT support.
Role & responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Provide technical support to end users through remote and on-site assistance.
- Install and configure Windows operating systems and common business applications.
- Manage user accounts, email configuration, and basic Active Directory tasks.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty support.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and document support activities.
Preferred candidate profile
- 2 years of experience in Desktop Support or IT Support.
- Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience troubleshooting desktop hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook.
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory and printer management.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
