Job Description
Objective :
Enable the business to implement key strategic initiatives by ensuring seamless delivery of Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compliance, and HR Operations.
Role & responsibilities :
Contract Labour Management
- Ensure contractor manpower deployment in line with approved budgets and operational requirements.
- Generate and circulate daily MIS based on attendance and punching data.
- Process contract labour payroll through system inputs and validate accuracy.
- Verify contractor invoices, submit for approval, and ensure timely wage disbursement.
- Address and resolve contract labour grievances in a timely and fair manner.
- Conduct monthly contractor compliance checks in line with statutory and company requirements.
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage joining formalities and induction of new employees in coordination with all departments, including Head Office.
- Prepare and validate payroll inputs through HR systems and coordinate with the payroll team.
- Maintain documentation and readiness for ISO and other statutory audits.
- Drive Training & Development initiatives, including TNI identification, annual training calendar creation, and coordination of online and classroom programs.
- Organize skill development programs and prepare training MIS and effectiveness reports.
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives through an annual engagement calendar to foster a positive work environment.
Administration
- Oversee canteen, transportation, and other employee welfare services; organize committee meetings and address employee concerns.
- Manage biometric and attendance systems, including department-wise and agency-wise MIS for attendance and overtime (daily, monthly, and annual reports).
- Coordinate with external agencies and the IT team to ensure smooth functioning of attendance management systems.
Apprenticeship Management
- Recruit NAPS/NATS apprentices as per allotted quotas and business needs.
- Source trainees through campus drives and other recruitment initiatives.
- Coordinate induction and training programs for apprentices and trainees.
- Ensure compliance with the Apprenticeship Act and related statutory requirements.
- Initiate and manage payroll and DBT processes for apprentices.
- Complete hiring and onboarding activities within HR systems.
Diversity Initiatives SPOC
- Act as SPOC for diversity initiatives and implementation of inclusion strategies.
- Track, monitor, and report progress against defined diversity goals.
- Organize training programs, awareness sessions, campaigns, events, and communications to support diversity objectives.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data integrity related to diversity metrics.
