Job Description
The Utility Engineer is responsible for the design, operation, maintenance, and improvement of utility systems such as HVAC, electrical distribution, steam, compressed air, water treatment, and wastewater systems. The engineer ensures systems operate efficiently, reliably, and in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:-
Monitor, maintain, and optimize utility systems (e.g., steam boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, water purification, and HVAC).

Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs for utility equipment.

Troubleshoot utility-related issues and recommend corrective actions.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system schematics, O&M manuals, and engineering reports.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental, safety, and energy regulations.

Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on capital projects involving utility infrastructure.

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for utility system upgrades and maintenance.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies or equipment for improved reliability and efficiency.
