Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Microservices Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on software development experience to join our engineering team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java 8, Microservices and AWS, with a proven ability to design, develop and deploy scalable, high-performance enterprise applications.
The role requires strong coding capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills and experience working with cloud-based architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable applications using Java 8 and Microservices architecture.
- Develop clean, efficient, reusable and production-ready code.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate distributed services.
- Build and maintain highly available and scalable cloud-based solutions on AWS.
- Troubleshoot application, performance and production issues and provide effective solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, product teams and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Ensure application quality through unit testing, debugging and continuous improvement.
- Support application deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting across cloud environments.
- Identify opportunities for performance optimization, automation and technical improvements.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong programming and coding expertise in Java 8 Mandatory.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microservices architecture – Mandatory.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services and cloud application development.
- Good understanding of cloud architecture, scalability and high availability.
- Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Redis and caching technologies.
