Job Description
- Key responsibilities of this position are: Planning, managing, monitoring and assessment, coordinating, and timely execution of assigned project activities in Kamrup Metro District of Assam and other parts of NE India.
- To liaise and active engagement with educational institutions, administration/ Government departments, research and development on climate change and environmental arena.
- Lead the research and Development for a Common framework for North East India on Climate and Development
- Documentation including research data analysis and preparation of technical and activity report, academic and non-academic publications.
- Provide necessary guidance to a young professional group and Co-ordinate on all aspects to support them.
Desired Qualification and experience:
- Post graduate in Forestry/ Environment studies/ Botany/ Agriculture/ Geography/MSW
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in related field
- Must have strong research and analytical skills with experience in field work for data collection and Fair knowledge of data analysis tools.
- Must have excellent communication skills to establish network of key stake holders (school authorities, local authorities, District administration, civil society)
- Must have excellent leadership skills to manage team
- Liaison role with Govt. department and NGOs

Honorarium: The honorarium for the candidate is negotiable. The duration of the contract is initially of one year, and is extendable based on the performance.
