Product Engineer

Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and modify automotive products as per customer and business requirements.
• Create and maintain technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Conduct product testing, validation, and engineering analysis.
• Perform competitor product benchmarking and investigations.
• Support engineering change implementation activities.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Develop and validate components from new suppliers.
• Prepare technical reports and project-related documentation.
• Support product lifecycle management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in Product Engineering, Product Development, or Automotive Design.
• Proficiency in CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks.
• Strong knowledge of technical drawings and GD&T.
• Experience in testing, validation, and engineering documentation.
• Knowledge of automotive systems/components, preferably brake systems.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
