Plant HR & IR Head

About the Role
We are looking for an accomplished Plant HR Head to lead HR & Industrial Relations at our manufacturing plants. This senior leadership role requires a proactive professional who can manage a large workforce, ensure statutory compliance, maintain harmonious IR, and strengthen HR systems while fostering a culture of safety, engagement, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead HR operations including policies, payroll inputs, onboarding, and employee engagement.
• Manage Industrial Relations: union negotiations, grievances, and contract labour compliance.
• Ensure 100% statutory compliance with labour laws and workplace safety standards.
• Drive performance management, training, and talent development initiatives.
• Optimize HR systems, MIS reporting, and cost-saving measures.
• Supervise HR, Admin, Safety, Security, and Medical teams.
• Build a culture of transparency, discipline, and employee well-being.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent
• 8+ years of HR/IR experience in manufacturing, with 3+ years as Plant HR Head
• Strong knowledge of labour laws, IR, and workforce governance
• Background in Glass / Plastics / Packaging / Heavy Manufacturing preferred
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
