Job Description
- Develop and deepen relationships with existing funders.
- Increase partnerships with leading companies, foundations and multilateral organizations.
- Put your innovative ideas into action to identify and diversify funding sources.
- Play a key role in building a financially stable organization with a diverse multi-country funder base.
This position will involve a mix of:
- Building a Pipeline- Networking and meeting new and potential funders to build a strong pipeline.
- Diversifying Funding Sources- Identify and strengthen alternative sources of funding like retail/individual giving.
- Managing Partnerships- Manage the lifecycle starting from initiating contact to proposal writing, due-diligence, agreement negotiation, and ongoing reporting and renewal.
- Improving Engagement- Increase engagement with new and existing partners to drive additional value for both parties.
What your day might look like:
While no two days are the same, some may look like this:
- You are pitching Medhas core program to a potential partner/funder.
- You are working on writing a proposal/building a pitch deck for a potential partner/funder.
- You are communicating with the field team to understand the progress and challenges related to a particular project.
- You have a monthly reporting call scheduled with a partner/funder allocated to you to share project related updates.
- You are working on an application for an award/competition in the livelihoods space.
- You are coordinating with a current partner/funder to organize a field visit.
