- The IT Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems and networks within the organization
- This role involves providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and implementing and maintaining IT infrastructure
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding computer hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, including operating systems, software applications, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems, either remotely or on-site
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, backups, and antivirus management
- Set up and configure network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and security, identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and maintain IT projects and initiatives
- Document IT processes, procedures, and configurations
- Provide training to end-users on IT systems and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends, technologies, and best practices
