Job Description
- 8+ years of experience as a Database Administrator specializing in PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and IBM DB2 across Windows, Linux, AWS, and Azure environments.
- Strong cloud migration expertise, including on-premises to AWS/Azure migrations, homogeneous and heterogeneous database migrations using AWS DMS and SCT, with hands-on experience in AWS RDS and Azure SQL.
- Well-versed in enterprise database operations, including performance tuning, backup & recovery, high availability (HADR/Always On), replication, clustering, disaster recovery, monitoring, and L2/L3 production support.
- Enterprise delivery experience supporting global customers such as HSBC and Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA), managing mission-critical production databases, troubleshooting performance issues, and implementing database security and compliance controls.
- IBM Certified Database Administrator with strong incident management, troubleshooting, and customer-facing support experience, complemented by leadership capabilities in handling production environments and complex infrastructure projects.
