Job Title: MySQL Database Administrator (DBA)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MySQL Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in database management, performance optimization, and production support, particularly in complex and mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain MySQL databases in complex production environments.
• Optimize database performance through query tuning, resource optimization, and high-availability setups (e.g., InnoDB Clusters).
• Develop and automate database maintenance tasks using shell scripting.
• Implement and manage robust backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve database-related challenges.
• Support Linux/Ubuntu systems with a focus on system resource management and monitoring.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience in MySQL database administration, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in shell scripting for automation of database tasks.
• Strong expertise in Linux/Ubuntu environments for database optimization and monitoring.
• Experience with high-availability solutions, such as InnoDB Clusters.
• Solid knowledge of backup strategies and disaster recovery planning for MySQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex database issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
