Summary:
As a Database Administrator, you will engage in the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise, all while collaborating with various teams to ensure data integrity and availability.


Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME.

Collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

Monitor database performance and implement necessary optimizations.

Assist in the development of database policies and procedures.


Professional & Technical Skills:


Must To Have Skills:

Proficiency in Database Management, MySQL, MySQL Database Administration.

Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling.

Experience with backup and recovery strategies for database systems.

Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques.

Knowledge of security best practices for database management.

Domain Knowledge - Procurement, Source to Contract

The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Database Management.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
