Job Description
- Act as **Collibra EDGE SME**, configuring and operating EDGE connectors to scan/harvest metadata from priority data platforms (e.g., databases, ETL/ELT tools, BI/reporting) into Collibra.
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end technical data lineage using Collibra Lineage/EDGE, ensuring traceability from source to consumption and alignment to agreed data domains.
- Identify, document, and map data quality controls (rules, checks, thresholds, monitoring points) to critical data elements, linking controls to lineage and governance artefacts.
- Troubleshoot and optimise harvesting and lineage jobs (connectivity, credentials, scheduling, performance, parsing), partnering with platform owners to resolve issues and improve coverage.
- Produce clear operational documentation and runbooks, and collaborate with Data Governance, Engineering, and Control Owners to drive adoption, remediation actions, and continuous improvement of metadata, lineage, and data quality visibility.
