hiring for one of our reputed client in mining based at Gurgaon.
The Electrical Manager will be responsible for the design, engineering, execution,
commissioning, and technical support of electrical systems for aggregate crushing and
screening plants. The role includes electrical system design, MCCs, PLCs, VFDs,
instrumentation, cable engineering, site coordination, troubleshooting, and ensuring
compliance with applicable standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and review electrical systems for crushing and screening plants.
• Prepare electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), cable schedules, and
wiring diagrams.
• Select and size motors, MCCs, VFDs, transformers, switchgear, and electrical
panels.
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and automation teams during project
execution.
• Review vendor drawings and provide technical approvals.
• Support site installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and
company specifications.
• Provide technical support to sales, project execution, and service teams.
• Optimize electrical designs for cost, reliability, and ease of maintenance.
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) for electrical failures and implement
corrective actions.
• Prepare technical documentation, BOQs, specifications, and as-built drawings.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical / Electronics / Electronics and
Communication / Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
• 815 years of experience in aggregate crushing and screening plants, mining,
cement, or material handling industries.
• Strong knowledge of motors, MCCs, VFDs, PLCs, instrumentation, power
distribution, and industrial automation.
• Experience in plant commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN (preferred), and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and team coordination skills.
Preferred Experience
• Experience with aggregate crushing and screening plants.
• Knowledge of conveyor systems, crushers, vibrating screens, feeders, and plant
automation.
• Experience with Siemens, ABB, Schneider, Rockwell, or similar PLC and drive
systems.
