Key Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage assembly line operations in 2-Wheeler / 3-Wheeler
  • Ensure daily production schedules are met
  • Maintain quality control standards
  • Implement safety protocols and procedures
  • Coordinate with other functions to facilitate smooth production
  • Train and mentor existing & new assembly line staff
  • Monitor and report on production performance
  • Address and resolve any assembly line issues or disruptions
  • Manage inventory and supplies for the assembly line
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Monitor OEE
  • Share period production & consumption report to management

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
  • Previous experience in assembly line management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in production management software
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience in the specific industry of the employer
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly role
  • Proven supervisory or management experience
  • Understanding of assembly line production processes
  • Knowledge of quality control standards and safety regulations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of MS office & Office tools.
  • Effective communication skills in both written and verbal forms

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in B.Tech /B.E. (Automobile/Mechanical/Production/Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechatronics Engineering) or Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering.
  • 5-10 years in manufacturing/assembly, with proven supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills; knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality/safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in production software, MS Office, and effective communication (written/verbal).
