Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Technician to join our Radiology Imaging Sciences team at Aster Medcity in Kochi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical imaging and radiology, with excellent technical skills and attention to detail.
Roles and Responsibility
- Operate and maintain various medical imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and CT scanners.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure their comfort during scans.
- Interpret images taken by other technicians or physicians, providing preliminary reports.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, test results, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans for patients.
- Stay updated on new technologies and techniques in medical imaging and radiology.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital or medical center setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical imaging principles, including radiation safety protocols.
- Proficiency in operating medical imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and CT scanners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems and other healthcare software applications.
