Technical Architect - Java

Credex is looking for Java Technical Architects who share a passion for technology, innovation, and excellence. You will be responsible for Architecture, Design, and Building of scalable and highly available enterprise applications. This is a hands-on role which will require you to operate comfortably in both technical business process situations, collaborate with Leads Product Owners from the customer side, and provide guidance mentorship to junior team members.

Role Responsibilities:

• Work with the teams to gather functional requirements develop technical specifications

• Technical evaluation and hands-on prototyping new solutions including cost analysis and lifecycle support

• Architecture, design, building of scalable and highly available enterprise applications (Microservices based architecture)

• Responsible for the quality, performance, robustness, and scalability of the services/features implemented by the team

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues

• Identify and mitigate risks on projects

• Provide support for the full life cycle of product development

• Create, enhance, implement maintain high performance, resilient and scalable services

• Help to build the engineering culture (Code Quality, Automation, Continuous Integration, etc) within the teams

• Provide guidance to the business teams by providing solutions recommendations; mentor junior engineers, new team members, and apply technical expertise to solve challenging programming and design problems; participate in design and code reviews

• Work with developers, automation engineers and support teams, and help them improve their productivity by automating repetitive processes

• Work with Ops team to setup the build pipeline automate deployment of platform on public/private cloud environments

Key Skills Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience with experience in building large scale distributed applications

• Strong experience building multi-tenant SaaS application

• Experience with Microservices and Cloud-based architectures/design patterns

• Experience of working with US clients

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with keen attention to detail

• Strong experience in Java, Spring MVC, REST APIs

• Additional experience with C++ preferred

• Experience with Linux

• Strong experience with top tier RDBMS (SQL, MySQL), database libraries (Hibernate, JDBI)

• Preferred experience with server (Apache Server, Apache Tomcat, NGINX)

• Preferred experience with Docker Kubernetes

• B. Tech/ MCA (Computer Science or a related field) and/or equivalent experience
