Job Opportunity: Test Engineer Systems Integration

(Contractual/Outsource)

Education: Diploma / NTTF / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics (EEE) or Electronics & Communication (ECE)


Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our Systems Integration horizontal under the Testing function.


Key Responsibilities:

  • System Testing: Perform rigorous testing of integrated gun systems, rocket/missile launchers, servo systems, communication units, modules, motors, cables, DG sets, BC filters, and tactical shelters.
  • Debugging & Analysis: Conduct basic circuit analysis and debugging of Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) modules to isolate and resolve technical faults.
  • Instrumentation: Operate and utilize precision testing instruments including Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Insulation Resistance (IR) testers, and High Voltage (HV) test equipment.
  • On-Site Support & Troubleshooting: Travel to project sites to troubleshoot engineering issues, perform repairs, and provide hands-on technical support.
  • Defect Documentation: Systematically record system failures and raise formal defect reports for engineering review.
  • Operational Flexibility: Willingness to work in rotating shifts to align with stringent project and defense delivery timelines.

Technical Competencies & Skills:

  • Strong theoretical foundation in Electrical, Electronics, and Communication engineering.
  • Proven track record in hardware debugging, product repair, and troubleshooting.
  • Competency in standard computer operations, specifically MS Office (Excel, Word).

Desirable (Good to Have):

  • Core understanding of closed-loop position control systems.
  • Operational knowledge of Diesel Generator (DG) set mechanisms.
  • Exposure to Defense Quality Requirements and military hardware standards.
  • Familiarity with basic mechanical structures and hydraulic systems.
  • Spoken proficiency in Hindi to coordinate with diverse teams and sites.
