Role Summary
We are looking for a Solution Engineer SAP DevOps to join our high-impact Pre-Sales and Solution Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in SAP Basis, Release Management, Transport Management, Retrofit, and SAP Solution Manager. The role involves delivering customer-focused demos, building POCs, designing SAP DevOps solutions, and providing technical guidance throughout the pre-sales and implementation stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging product demos tailored to customer pain points and use cases
- Build and manage customer-specific Proof of Concepts (POCs) and pilot environments
- Work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to shape value-driven solutions
- Support early-stage implementation guidance to ensure successful handoffs
- Articulate technical benefits of ReleaseOwl to both technical and business stakeholders
- Act as a trusted advisor during pre-sales engagements and discovery sessions.
Key Skills & Qualifications
SAP Basis & Landscape Management
- 3+ years of experience in SAP Basis or SAP landscape operations
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Basis, STMS, RFCs, transport routes, system connectivity, and SAP landscape operations.
Release & Transport Management
- Expertise in SAP Transport Management, STMS, release pipelines, transport sequencing, dependencies, approvals, and deployment processes.
Retrofit & Change Management
- Strong understanding of SAP Retrofit, dual-maintenance scenarios, transport synchronization, conflict resolution, and change management.
SAP Solution Manager
- Hands-on experience with SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM, change documents, transport workflows, and release processes.
SAP DevOps & Customer Engagement
- Working knowledge of SAP BTP, Integration Suite, SAP Cloud ALM, CI/CD, and DevOps practices is a strong plus.
Experience in customer-facing consulting, POCs, product demonstrations, technical workshops, and solution design is highly preferred.
