Job Description
- Develop and manage long-term relationships with shippers and carriers
- Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to maximize margins and service quality
- Source, qualify, and onboard reliable new carriers to grow our network
- Monitor load movements and resolve issues proactively to ensure on-time delivery
- Provide real-time shipment tracking and communication to customers
- Collaborate with internal operations teams to optimize freight handling
- Ensure compliance with U.S. transportation regulations and internal SOPs
- Use freight management systems (TMS) for load booking, tracking, and documentation
- Stay ahead of market trends and seek out new lanes or freight opportunities
- 4+ years of experience in carrier sales, freight brokerage, or U.S. transportation
- Strong knowledge of OTR and Drayage operations and U.S. freight markets
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Hands-on experience with TMS platforms , Google Workspace, and MS Office tools
- Self-motivated and accountable , with a strong sense of ownership
- Work with a 10-year-old MC with a strong network and solid industry presence
