Experience

Should possess at Minimum 10 -15 years of experience in large BFSI or MIs Tech Support Function years of which at least 5 years should be at senior level having led a team of technical experts comprising of PMO, Solution Architects, Systems, Networking, Security etc professionals for production, deployment and management of technology platforms.

Job Responsibilities
  • The person is accountable for managing IT Infra uptime and his responsibility is to observe, run, and scale the stack.
  • Development of enterprise standards and technology architecture and the IT operations governance process
  • Oversee Day to Day IT operations, production and Night operations for EOD BOD.
  • Up keeping DC-DR site Infrastructure. Production Enterprise available 24 x 7
  • Incident notification, management, and Tracking to Closure
  • Problem solving: Anticipate and address potential issues before they arise, ensuring seamless operations and maximum system uptime.
  • Prioritize uptime guarantees: Establish robust mechanisms to mitigate system downtime, minimizing disruptions and delivering reliable services to end-users.
  • Optimize performance: Constantly monitor and fine-tune the application to enhance performance, enabling users to leverage its capabilities to the fullest to deliver on time EOD-BOD completion.
  • Embrace automation: Leverage automation tools and technologies to streamline repetitive tasks, reducing manual efforts and boosting productivity.
  • Compliance as per BCP / DR policy procedures
  • Manage IT Operations from DR as a Backup strategy
  • Team Development Conduct team building activities
  • Organize Training programs Organize Internal Functional Training External Training Program

    Preferred Expertise:

  • Should have knowledge of various platforms like Windows, Linux and containerised architecture, RHEL OS, Microsoft Windows 2016 servers
  • Working knowledge of Nutanix HCI, VMware ESXi, Hyper-V configuration and admin/maintenance related activities will be preferred.
  • Exposure to ITIL concepts and adoption
  • Working knowledge of Database Backup for MySQL, IBM DB2, and MSSQL etc.
  • Good exposure to Monitoring Tools and thrive in Automation
  • Knowledge on Storage, Servers, and other hardware devices
  • Working knowledge of Exchange related applications (Stock/Commodity/CTCL solutions) Financial/Banking related applications.
  • Show ownership and commitment on the tasks taken up to understand the requirement and deliver in time with internal customers.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills and ability to Communicate /interact clearly with internal customers is a must.
  • Ready to take up newer challenges and contribute enthusiastic to learn new things.
To be able to perform in 24 x 6 Environment in shift roaster including compulsory night shifts. Should be willing to work independently, passion to meet aggressive timelines in a large production environment.
