Senior Java Full Stack Developer (AWS)

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Angular Full Stack Developer to join a global information distribution systems development team. The candidate will be responsible for engineering and developing frontend, backend, middleware, and infrastructure solutions while delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance distributed applications on AWS. The role offers opportunities to work on strategic integration initiatives across Banking, Prime Brokerage, Core Equity, Core Banking, and Investment Management domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Build scalable distributed systems using multi-tier architecture principles.
• Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using Angular and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring-based technologies.
• Participate in the design and implementation of new applications, enhancements, and support for existing systems.
• Develop full-stack solutions covering frontend, backend, middleware, and infrastructure components.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, business users, and external clients to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Participate in system integration projects across multiple business units.
• Work with data engineering and information distribution platforms.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve application performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with globally distributed Agile teams.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technology modernization initiatives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience in Java technologies.
• Strong programming expertise in Java 11 or higher.
• Strong Angular development experience.
• Hands-on experience in building Full Stack applications.
• Experience with Spring Boot and REST API development.
• Strong development experience using Python or Perl.
• Good JavaScript development experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services:
• EC2
• Lambda
• S3
• Strong understanding of Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience with Shell Scripting and automation.
• Knowledge of databases, messaging systems, and caching platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams.
• AWS Certification is Mandatory.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Data Engineering projects.
• Knowledge of enterprise file transfer platforms.
• Experience with cryptography and encryption technologies such as PGP.
• Familiarity with networking protocols including TCP/IP, HTTPS, FTP, SSH/SFTP, and SMTP.
• Experience working on Banking or Financial Services projects.
• Experience with enterprise integration and information distribution platforms.
