Senior Software Developer – Java Backend

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Senior Software Developer – Java Backend with 7–9 years of hands-on software development experience.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java backend development, problem-solving, API development, scalable application design, and writing high-quality production-ready code.
Strong hands-on coding experience is mandatory for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend applications using Java.
- Develop robust and secure RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to solution and architectural design.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and improve application performance and reliability.
- Work closely with Product, QA, DevOps, Architects, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and engineering best practices.
- Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers when required.
Required Technical Skills
- 7–9 years of strong software development experience.
- Excellent hands-on experience in Core Java.
- Strong coding and problem-solving skills – hands-on coding is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of:
- Core Java & Java 8+

- Collections
- Multithreading & Concurrency
- Exception Handling
- Data Structures & Algorithms
- Strong experience with Spring / Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience in developing REST APIs and Microservices.
- Good experience with SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Understanding of Design Patterns, SOLID principles, and scalable application architecture.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud platforms, Kafka/Messaging systems will be an added advantage.

Mandatory Requirement
Strong hands-on Java coding experience is COMPULSORY for this role. Candidates with primarily managerial, coordination, or non-coding experience will not be considered.
