SENIOR ENGINEER

The Production Sr Engineerwill be responsible for executing and controlling day-to-day productionactivities for Prismatic Lithium-ion cell assembly, module/pack manufacturing,and automated processes involving Fanuc robotics systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot Fanuc robotics systems, pick-and-place units, and semi/automated cell assembly lines.
• Ensure smooth production of Prismatic cell, module, and pack assembly as per SOP and quality standards.
• Perform line balancing, process optimization, and cycle time improvement initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations, cell failures, and equipment breakdowns.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Automation teams for continuous process improvements.
• Maintain Daily Production Reports (DPR), OEE, and downtime logs.
• Support new line installation, commissioning, FAT/SAT, and equipment calibration activities.
• Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and safety practices on the shop floor.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Fanuc robot programming (basic level), TP panel operation, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Prismatic Lithium-ion cell handling, formation/aging, module assembly, welding, and testing.
• Understanding of semi-automatic and fully automated production systems.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Qualification

• Diploma/B.Tech Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics.
• 10 to 15 years relevant experience in EV/BESS/Lithium-ion cell or pack manufacturing.
