Section Head- Safety

Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor Safety Management System (SMS).
• Ensure compliance with safety laws, ISO 45001, and company standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Organize safety audits, inspections, and statutory certifications.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness plans and mock drills.
• Drive contractor safety, PPE compliance, and housekeeping standards.
• Liaise with government authorities for statutory compliance.
• Conduct safety committee meetings and review safety performance.
• Promote safety culture through training, TBTs, campaigns, and awareness programs.

Required Skills

• Industrial safety and EHS management.
• Knowledge of Factories Act, PESO, Boiler Act, and statutory compliance.
• Risk assessment and incident investigation.
• ISO 45001 implementation and audit management.
• Emergency response and contractor safety management.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
