Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant with 3-5 years of experience in SAP MM configuration, support, implementation, and enhancement projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in procurement, inventory management, and integration with other SAP modules to support business operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support SAP MM processes including:
- Procurement & Purchasing
- Inventory Management
- Material Master Management
- Vendor Master Data
- Invoice Verification
- Stock Transfers and Physical Inventory
- Analyze business requirements and provide SAP MM solutions.
- Perform system configuration and customization as per business needs.
- Collaborate with business users, functional teams, and technical teams.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP developers.
- Support incident management, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Participate in testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT.
- Support data migration, cutover, and go-live activities.
- Create and maintain process documentation and training materials.
- Ensure compliance with organizational processes and SAP best practices.
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Purchasing (RFQ, PO, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements)
- Inventory Management
- Goods Receipt/Goods Issue Processes
- Invoice Verification
- Material Requirement Planning (MRP)
- Release Strategies
- Account Determination
- Vendor Evaluation
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA MM is preferred.
- Understanding of integration with:
- SAP SD
- SAP FI/CO
- SAP PP
- SAP WM/EWM
- Experience in support, rollout, implementation, or enhancement projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- SAP MM Certification is an added advantage.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Retail, Pharma, or FMCG domains preferred.
