Role: Full Stack Reporting Software Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong foundation in Java, Spring Framework, and SQL to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have experience in backend development, working with Spring Boot and relational databases, working knowledge of Angular UI and familiarity with reporting tools like Jasper. This role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing backend services while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, focusing on the reporting functionality.

Education Level:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or relevant work experience).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Framework.
• Work with Spring Boot to build scalable and maintainable applications.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient data management.
• Working knowledge of Angular to implement reporting features on the web front-end
• Familiarity with reporting tools like JasperReports to build rich reporting capabilities for users.
• Assist in integrating and maintaining RESTful APIs for seamless application communication.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and sprint planning.
• Debug and troubleshoot performance issues and application bugs.
• Follow best practices and coding standards to ensure code quality and security.

Experience Required:

Must Have:

• 3+ years of experience in Java and Spring Framework.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases for data storage and retrieval.
• Basic understanding of Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Basic understanding of Angular framework
• Basic understanding of reporting tools like Business Objects, Tableau, and Jasper (Jasper preferred)
• Exposure to RESTful API development.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Spring Cloud and distributed systems.
• Experience with python3 development.
• Familiarity with in-memory caching (e.g., Redis).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
