We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Group Reporting Specialist with expertise in matrix calculation to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in consolidating and reporting financial data across our group of companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a deep understanding of financial consolidation, matrix calculations, and the ability to manage complex datasets within a multi-dimensional reporting framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and reports for the group, integrating data from multiple business units.
- Utilize matrix calculation techniques to analyze intercompany transactions, allocations, and currency conversion impacts.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support the consolidation process.
- Collaborate with finance managers and analysts across the group to gather and validate financial data.
- Ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in the implementation and optimization of financial reporting systems and tools.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting packages for senior management.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insightful explanations for fluctuations and trends.
- Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
- Train and mentor junior staff in group reporting processes and matrix calculation techniques.
