Location- Nigeria

Reports to: Deputy Service Head -2W

Reportees: AM's Service

Educational Qualification : Graduate required

Experience: 9-14 years of experience in the automobile industry (2w/3w), with at least 3 years in a managerial role

Job Description

Overall Scope of Role
The Regional Manager Service will be responsible for managing and developing the after-sales service operations for Two-Wheeler and Three-Wheeler products across the assigned region in Nigeria. The role focuses on dealer network management, service quality enhancement, technical training, customer satisfaction, spare parts business growth, warranty administration, and expansion of the service support infrastructure to ensure superior customer experience and business growth.

Functional Responsibilities

Service Operations Management

  • Ensure effective implementation of all service policies, procedures, and standards across the dealer network.
  • Monitor overall functioning of dealer workshops and service facilities to ensure operational excellence.
  • Conduct regular audits of service centres and dealer workshops to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
  • Monitor service performance indicators and implement corrective actions where required.

Technical Training & Capability Development

  • Plan, organize, and conduct technical training programs on servicing, repairs, fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and maintenance of 2W/3W vehicles.
  • Develop technical competency of dealer service staff, workshop managers, and technicians.
  • Ensure dealer personnel are updated on new products, technologies, and service procedures.
  • Conduct periodic assessments to evaluate training effectiveness and technical proficiency.

Dealer Network Development

  • Manage and strengthen the existing dealer service network across the region.
  • Identify and appoint new dealers and service partners to enhance market coverage.
  • Develop and expand secondary service networks to improve customer accessibility.
  • Support dealers in improving workshop productivity, service quality, and customer retention.

Spare Parts Business Management

  • Develop and expand authorized spare parts dealer networks and channel sales networks.
  • Drive genuine spare parts sales and achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Monitor spare parts availability and inventory levels across dealerships.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and parts teams to ensure uninterrupted availability of critical components.

Customer Satisfaction & Complaint Resolution

  • Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
  • Drive customer retention initiatives and customer relationship management programs.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels and implement service improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure high standards of customer experience across all touchpoints.

MIS & Performance Reporting

  • Implement and monitor MIS related to First Time Resolution (FTR), Dealer Performance Reports, Service Network Reports, Channel Network Performance Reports, and Spare Parts Sales Reports.
  • Analyze service and business performance data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reviews and management reports.

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, mentor, and support the regional service team to achieve business objectives.
  • Implement effective coaching, performance management, and employee development initiatives.
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Conduct regular service review meetings and action planning sessions.

Business Growth & Process Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop productivity and service efficiency.
  • Support new product launches and market development activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service revenue, spare parts sales, and customer retention.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to support overall business growth.
