Job Description: The Junior Software Developer Python will support development, integration, testing, enhancement and maintenance of Government e-Governance, ERP, workflow, API, data-processing and citizen-centric applications. The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of Python, FastAPI, aiohttp, REST APIs, asynchronous programming, Microservices, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Git and enterprise application development.
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Python.
- Develop reusable components, business logic, APIs and backend services.
- Debug defects and implement enhancements.
- Work with FastAPI, Pydantic, dependency injection, routing, middleware, authentication/authorization, background tasks, validation and OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Develop secure REST APIs.
- Develop asynchronous services and HTTP clients using aiohttp.
- Use async/await, asyncio, concurrency, timeouts and retries.
- Develop individual microservices under senior guidance.
- Implement service APIs, service-to-service communication, authentication, logging and error handling.
- Work with PostgreSQL/MySQL, SQLAlchemy/Alembic, CRUD, queries, transactions and validation.
- Understand JWT/OAuth2, RBAC, API security and OWASP API Security principles.
- Use PyTest/pytest-asyncio where applicable and support production troubleshooting.
- Use Git, Linux, Docker, Uvicorn/Gunicorn, Nginx and basic CI/CD.
- Assist with API, module, integration and release documentation.
