Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or Analytics (or equivalent hands-on experience); PL-300 / DP-600 certification preferred
About the Role
This role owns end-to-end Power BI reporting and dashboard delivery for manufacturing and business stakeholders, translating enterprise data into decision-ready visual products. Near-term focus is MES/data-digitization reporting; long-term scope expands to D365 and Microsoft Fabric-based analytics. The developer partners directly with operations, quality, supply chain, and business teams, gathering requirements, supporting UAT, and driving continuous improvement in report accuracy and trust across the group.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models for manufacturing and business domains.
- Deliver visualization products prioritizing MES/data-digitization needs, extending to D365 and Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse/warehouse sources.
- Build clear DAX measures, drill-throughs, and user-friendly layouts aligned with BI governance standards.
- Implement row-level security, workspace management, publishing, and refresh processes.
- Triage and resolve report defects (mapping, visual, totals-vs-detail issues) with root-cause documentation.
- Engage directly with business users and clients to gather requirements, support UAT, and present deliverables confidently.
- Document report logic, data sources, and change history for supportability.
Skills Required
Must-Have
- Strong Power BI, DAX, data modeling (star-schema, relationships, measures).
- SQL-backed / Lakehouse / warehouse data source experience.
- Power BI/Fabric workspace publishing, refreshing, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent client-facing communication; proven experience handling business stakeholders directly.
Good-to-Have
- PL-300 / DP-600 or related Microsoft certifications.
- Exposure to D365 F&O, MES/manufacturing reporting, Azure Synapse.
- Tableau, Qlik, SSRS, or Excel Power Pivot; Azure DevOps/Git familiarity.
