Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced PLSQL Developer / Oracle Developer with 9+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining tax processing applications, database solutions, technical migration projects and high-volume banking applications.
The role requires strong expertise in Oracle database development, database design, performance tuning, debugging, security and data management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop complex SQL and PL/SQL code based on business requirements.
- Design and develop schemas, tables, indexes, sequences, constraints, functions, procedures, packages and collections.
- Design and implement database models and data flows.
- Perform SQL optimization, database performance tuning and debugging.
- Conduct capacity analysis and proactively resolve database performance issues.
- Implement and maintain database security, including users, roles and privileges.
- Perform data anonymization and maintain secure data across development and testing environments.
- Manage databases across Development, Testing, Pre-Production and Production environments.
- Perform technical analysis, impact assessment, design reviews and code reviews.
- Develop, unit test and debug database applications.
- Support integration testing, UAT and production implementation.
- Fix defects and optimize application/database performance.
- Prepare technical specifications and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with onsite/offshore teams and cross-functional technology teams.
- Mentor developers and conduct peer reviews.
- Promote database development best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in Agile/iterative SDLC activities.
