Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced PL/SQL Developer with strong expertise in database programming and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing PL/SQL components while ensuring high performance and reliability of database systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and views
- Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for large datasets
- Perform query performance tuning using execution plans, indexing strategies, and optimizer hints
- Work with loops, cursors, and temporary tables for complex data processing
- Implement partitioning strategies to improve performance and manage large tables
- Debug and troubleshoot database issues, ensuring proper exception handling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices in modular development
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL programming (procedures, functions, packages, views)
- Hands-on experience with loops, cursors, and temporary tables
- Solid understanding of indexing and query optimization techniques
- Expertise in performance tuning, execution plans, and optimizer hints
- Experience with table partitioning and modular code design
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of database architecture and data modeling concepts
