Oracle PL/SQL DBMS Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL programs, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for high performance and scalability.
• Design and maintain Oracle database objects such as tables, views, indexes, and sequences.
• Analyze and resolve database performance issues using SQL tuning and query optimization techniques.
• Develop and support ETL processes, data migration, and data integration activities.
• Work closely with application developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with database standards.
• Participate in code reviews and implement best practices for database development.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for database objects and processes.
• Support database deployment and release activities.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Mandatory Skills

• 711 years of experience in Oracle Database Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
• Expertise in writing Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, Triggers, and Cursors.
• Strong knowledge of SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with Oracle Database 12c/19c or later.
• Knowledge of Data Modeling and relational database concepts.
• Experience with ETL, data migration, and data integration.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Good to Have

• Experience with Oracle APEX.
• Knowledge of Shell Scripting or Unix/Linux.
• Experience with Oracle Forms & Reports.
• Familiarity with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or other ETL tools.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud.
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
