PHP and Laravel Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP (Laravel framework)
• Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using Vue.js, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap
• Design and optimize MySQL database schemas, write efficient SQL queries, and manage stored procedures/indexes
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA, and other developers to deliver high-quality features
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers as needed
• Work with version control systems (Git) and follow Agile/Scrum development practices
• Ensure application security, scalability, and performance

Preferred candidate profile

Education

• Regular full-time graduate from a recognized college/university, any stream (Strictly no candidates from Open School / Distance Education).
• B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics & Communication.
• BCA/MCA-a strong plus given the seniority and technical depth required

Experience

• 58 years of professional experience in PHP web development
• Strong expertise in Laravel framework (routing, Eloquent ORM, middleware, queues, etc.)
• Proficient in MySQL — schema design, complex joins, query optimization, indexing
• Hands-on experience with Vue.js (components, state management, Vue Router)
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and responsive design
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration
• Familiarity with JavaScript/jQuery and AJAX
• Understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles
• Experience with Git or other version control tools
• Good understanding of application security best practices
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
