Pcb Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Developing PCB layout using Cadence Allegro/OrCAD
2. Schematics, Board layout & routing Execute mixedsignal, highpower & multilayer designs including HDI and rigidflex boards.
3. Heatsinks & busbars Integrate thermal management hardware into PCB designs.
4. EMI/EMC – Apply grounding, shielding, and filtering techniques to meet compliance.
5. Layout for complex ICs - BGAs, QFNs, CSPs, and custom packages.
6. Thermal, SI & PI analysis – Validate heat dissipation, signal integrity, and power integrity.
7. Develop and maintain footprints, symbols, and package libraries.
8. Ensure compliance with MIL, IPC standards, DFM/DFA.
9. Collaborate with mechanical teams for enclosure compatibility.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Strong electronics fundamentals – solid understanding of circuits, grounding, and signal flow.

2. Hands on expertise with Cadence Allegro/OrCAD/ HyperLynx.

3. Experience in multi-layer, mixed signal, high power, and high-speed PCB design – including HDI and rigid flex.

4. Knowledge of EMI/EMC, SI & PI analysis.

5. Background in power electronics layouts – MOSFETs, busbars, decoupling strategies.

6. Familiarity with IPC standards and DFM/DFA practices.

7. Collaboration skills – ability to work with hardware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
