Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Consultant with 8+ years of experience in implementing, configuring, integrating, and supporting Oracle Transportation Management solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with OTM configuration, transportation planning, shipment management, freight payment, integrations, and end-to-end implementation/support projects. The candidate should be comfortable working with business stakeholders, technical teams, and offshore/onshore delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable OTM solutions.
- Configure OTM modules including:
- Order Management
- Shipment Management
- Transportation Planning
- Rate Management
- Freight Payment
- Itinerary and Network Configuration
- Automation Agents
- Power Data
- Events and Workflows
- Design and configure transportation processes based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain OTM agents, saved queries, screensets, reports, and automation processes.
- Configure rates, rate offerings, rate records, accessorial costs, and charge rules.
- Work on shipment planning, optimization, tendering, execution, tracking, and settlement processes.
- Design and support integrations between OTM and ERP/third-party systems.
- Troubleshoot integration issues involving XML, JSON, APIs, web services, and middleware.
- Work with technical teams on interfaces, data mapping, error handling, and integration monitoring.
- Analyze production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide permanent fixes.
- Prepare functional specifications, solution designs, configuration documents, and test scenarios.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, and deployment activities.
- Coordinate with business users, project managers, developers, and other functional teams.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior OTM consultants.
- Participate in workshops, requirement discussions, solution reviews, and client meetings.
