Operations manager - Tanzania

Location: Dar es salaam, Tanzania

Designation: Operations manager ( Accounts background)

Roles:

• Financial Management:
  • Oversee the schools financial accounts, including budget planning, payroll processing, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Manage school expenditures, invoices, and receipts.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for review by the school management committee and Principal.
  • Manage Taxation and other aspects
• Administrative Duties:
  • Coordinate daily administrative functions of the school, including facility management and staff schedules.
  • Supervise administrative staff and provide training and support as needed.
  • Manage correspondence, keep records, and ensure efficient office operations.
  • Oversee the procurement of school supplies and equipment.
• Payroll
  • Manage staff payroll and benefits.
  • Handle employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws.
• Liaison Work:
  • Act as a liaison between the school administration, staff, parents, and external agencies.
  • Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure that all necessary documentation is available.
• Strategic Planning:
  • Participate in strategic planning with the schools leadership to improve operational efficiency and educational outcomes.
  • Implement policies and procedures that align with the school s objectives.

Skills and Qualifications: Masters and Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: 8-15 years of experience
