Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Manage merchandising activities for assigned lighting, lampshade and home dcor categories.
- Coordinate product sampling, approvals, costing and production.
- Prepare product costing and maintain target margins.
- Source and coordinate with vendors/manufacturers.
- Negotiate product costs, MOQ, lead time and commercial terms.
- Maintain product specifications, costing sheets and merchandising MIS.
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Production, Quality, Sales and Warehouse.
- Resolve vendor, quality, delivery and product-related issues.
- Prepare regular merchandising reports for management.
- Support showroom, catalogue, online and other sales channels with appropriate product assortment.
- Contribute ideas for improving product range, profitability and overall merchandising efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile
Merchandising Executive with around 5 years of relevant experience in the lighting, lampshade, home dcor, furniture, furnishings or lifestyle products industry.
