HARDGOODS MERCHANDISER
Position Overview
Experienced Hardgoods Merchandiser to manage home goods and furniture sourcing, vendor relationships, and product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with design and production teams on product development execution
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for optimal pricing and quality
- Manage complete product lifecycle from concept to delivery
- Maintain strategic vendor relationships ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness
- Coordinate technical specs, testing requirements, and compliance documentation
- Monitor market trends and material innovations
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years in home goods or furniture merchandising
- Bachelor's degree in B.Tech, Design or Business Administration, or related fields
- Knowledge of home dcor trends, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple categories in fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel to factories and trade shows.
APPAREL MERCHANDISER
Position Overview
Experienced Apparel Merchandiser to manage product procurement and serve as liaison between suppliers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily supplier communication and coordinate product development timelines
- Develop and maintain technical specifications ensuring brand compliance
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Oversee product lifecycle from sampling through final production
- Collaborate with design and production teams to meet delivery deadlines
- Conduct quality control assessments and resolve production issues
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years in apparel merchandising or sourcing
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and textile terminology
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Willingness to travel for supplier visits Role & responsibilities
QC Inspector
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inline and final quality inspections.
- Check products against approved samples and specifications.
- Inspect dimensions, color, finish, workmanship, and packaging.
- Identify defects and coordinate corrective actions with vendors.
- Prepare QC reports and photos.
- Ensure products meet customer quality standards before shipment.
Requirements:
- 35 years of QC experience, preferably in home dcor/handicrafts.
- Good attention to detail and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to vendor factories when required.
