MEP Quantity Surveyor

1. Experience of 5-8 years as Quantity Surveyor in vast projects ( more than 5lacs SQ.Ft).
2. Candidates having experience in Residential, Commercial Buildings/ Office Buildings will get precedence.
3. Excellent communication skill both Oral and Written (Preferably English) with global corporate clients.
4. Ability to work in team with good interpersonal skills.
5. Having awareness of various IS codes.
6. Reading drawings thoroughly and taking out quantities from Hardcopy or AutoCAD drawings.
7. Having thorough knowledge in Kolkata market price trend of materials and labours for various items.

Having knowledge in,

Pre Contract:

• Budget of various levels, BOQ Preparation and Costing, detailed quantification of various items, Rate analysis etc.
• Coordination with Client, Internal Project team , Architects and Consultants.

Post Contract:

• Participate in Bill certification of MEP(Electrical, PHE, HVAC, Fire Protection, and others)packages both supply and installation w.r.t the contract.
• Reading BOQs and certify items as per the actual work progress and preparation of payment certificate.
• Detailed quantity checking from site ,JMRs and approved drawings and finalizing with contractors.
• Handling Contract documents, BG and WCP, Challan & Invoices, Material Inspection checklist, Quality checklist, Pour cards, other statutory documents etc.
• Do or check Reconciliation of Free issue materials and quantities of all MEP BOQ items etc.
• Do or check Rate analysis of various items and verification from Kolkata market rates.
• Coordination with Client s Project team, Internal Project team , Architect, Consultants and Contractors.Qualifications

B. Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from reputed college or university of West Bengal.
